Cutting Components: Blades are typically made of high-strength alloy steel, featuring a sharp edge and excellent wear resistance, effectively shredding a wide variety of weeds. Blades may be rotary or reciprocating. Rotary blades shred weeds using centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, while reciprocating blades cut through weeds using an up-and-down or side-to-side motion, covering a wide weed-clearing area with a working width of 60 cm.

Powertrain: They may be powered by either a gasoline engine or an electric motor. Gasoline engines offer powerful, stable power output, making them suitable for large field operations. Electric motors offer low noise, zero pollution, and ease of operation, making them suitable for areas with high noise and environmental requirements, such as orchards and gardens.

Transmission: Power is transmitted from the engine or motor to the cutting components. Common transmission methods include chain, belt, and gear drives. Chain drives offer high efficiency and reliability; belt drives provide excellent elasticity and cushioning properties, reducing vibration and noise; and gear drives offer high precision, ensuring stable operation of the cutting components. Collection Device: While weeds are being shredded, a collection device, such as a collection box or bag, is also available. This device is typically located behind the cutting element and collects the shredded weeds through airflow or mechanical propulsion, facilitating subsequent handling and cleanup, keeping the work area tidy.

 

Operating Principle

After the machine is started, the power system powers the cutting element, causing it to rotate at high speed. When weeds enter the cutting element's working range, they are chopped by the rotating or reciprocating blades. The chopped weeds are then collected by the airflow or mechanical device into the collection device. Throughout the operation, the operator can adjust parameters such as the machine's forward speed, cutting depth, and blade speed based on weed growth and operational requirements to achieve optimal weed shredding.

Efficient Shredding: The 60 cm wide design allows for a large area to be covered in one operation. Combined with sharp blades and powerful power, it can quickly and effectively shred weeds of various heights and densities, improving weed clearing efficiency. Adjustable cutting depth: The adjustment mechanism allows you to adjust the cutting depth based on weed height and soil conditions, ensuring thorough shredding of weed roots and preventing weed regrowth.

 

Adaptable: The machine can adapt to various terrains and operating environments, such as plains, mountains, and slopes. It also effectively shreds different weed types, including broadleaf weeds and grass weeds.

 

Easy to operate: The ergonomic design, well-placed operating handle, and easy-to-understand controls make it easy for even inexperienced operators to quickly master the task and easily complete weed shredding.

 

Maintenance: Regular cleaning: After each use, clean the machine surface of weeds, dirt, and debris to prevent accumulation that may affect normal operation. Also, clean any remaining weeds and dirt from the cutting components to maintain blade sharpness.

 

Component inspection: Regularly inspect the blade for wear. Replace any blades that are severely worn or chipped. Check the tension of the drive chain, belt, and gears, and adjust any looseness. Also, check the bolts connecting each component for looseness. Tighten any loose bolts immediately.

 

Oil Change: For weed choppers with gasoline engines, change the oil regularly according to the engine's instruction manual to maintain good lubrication and heat dissipation. Also, clean or replace the air filter to ensure smooth air intake.

 

Storage and Maintenance: When the machine is not in use for extended periods, store it in a dry, well-ventilated area to avoid moisture and rust. Also, raise the cutting element to prevent the blade from contacting the ground and deformation.
